Movie Review: Captain America: Civil War

I’m a huge fan of the Captain America movies. I first fell in love with the series in The First Avenger, and The Winter Soldier is one of my all-time favorite movies.

I just love his character. He’s my favorite of the Avengers because of his old-fashioned, gentleman-ly qualities. He’s the guy who does the right thing, no matter what. He embodies the American ideals of patriotism, justice, and courage, and also the Biblical ideals of compassion, selflessness, and forgiveness. Captain America is the guy who never compromises his morals, even when his opinions may be unpopular.

When I first heard what Civil War (the third installment in Captain America’s series) was about, I didn’t have high expectations–especially after my disappointment with Avengers: Age of Ultron.

A Mother’s Day Post

This Sunday is Mother’s Day, a day we set aside each year to say “thank you” to our moms for everything they do for us.

My mom is my best friend. I love hanging out with her, and we do everything together. I have so many things to thank her for, and there are so many things she does that I take for granted.
